Bajón de los Petos
Three minutes away from the breakwater wall, in the middle of the Puerto Tazacorte bay, is an underwater rock formation, consisting out of two cliffs, surrounded by black sand on the sea floor. At the bottom of the cliffs is a cave with numerous Atlantic horse mackerels, amberjacks and sometimes even tuna which are being attracted by the thousands of herrings, silverfish and sardines. When diving at the deepest point, always along the shelf, french grunts and stripped surinam grunts can be observed.
