Playa Grande de Tazacorte

This beach is located in the previous harbour of Tazacorte and is as such very much protected from the roughness of the Atlantic. As a consequence, it is possible to bath in the sea all year long, even during the winter months. This may be one of the reasons why it is among La Palma´s most popular beaches. It is also said to be the spot with the most hours of sunlight in all of Spain. Last but not least, the beach is line by a promenade, featuring many restaurants and little cafes.
