We are heading north on LP-1 towards Punta Gorda and turn left into Avenida de la Constitución as we reach the town. We stay straight and pass through the town's center and turn right on Carretera del Cementerio. We continue on this road, which leads us past the cemetery and a water basin, until we reach a T-intersection. Here we turn left and follow the road which will occasionally have a sign to El Palito, pointing straight. When we reach the sign that marks a clear right turn off the road, we park the car and continue on foot, following the green and white hiking symbols, which will take us all the way down to the beach.
Extremely quiet stone beach, nestled in and protected by a small bay. Access only via a fairly long and steep - but well maintained - pathway.

Ratings and Reviews

This was a very special experience for us, and the fact that we met no one on the entire trail made it even more so. While there is no sand, we still jumped of the rocks into the water and had a great refreshment. We BBQ'ed on the grilling fixtures and were completely removed from the world for a day. Almost considered sleeping in the caves... This location is not for everybody, but we loved it.
