La Palma Sailing Reviews and Ratings Guide

The Canary archipelago offers supreme sailing conditions all year around. Numerous world class tournaments and regattas take place in the area year after year. With temperatures ranging from 18 to 23ºC and consistently excellent wind conditions, the possibilities are unlimited: sail to La Palma´s neighboring islands of El Hierro, La Gomera or Tenerife, take an extended trip reaching as far as the Portuguese island of Madeira or the Azores, continental Morocco or even the open Atlantic and the Americas toward the west.

La Palma has two marinas: Santa Cruz de La Palma on the east side and Puerto de Tazacorte on the west side of the island. It is possible to obtain berths for short or long term rentals, or to hire skippers and yachts for a large variety of sailing activities.
